Thank you for joining me on an Earth Sea Sky women’s retreat!

Here is an overview of what the retreat involves:

We will share a series of morning practises involving somatic movement, yoga, breathing, meditation and chanting or voice work. All these practises can be modified to suit your needs but it’s really important I am aware (well in advance) of any injuries or health conditions which may need support.

The afternoon gathering will be a sound journey; a meditative, intuitive blend of gongs, crystal bowls, drum, flute, shruti box, my voice, ocean drum and many other high quality, healing and elemental instruments.

There will be other special practises and ceremonies in nature and on the land.

How to prepare:

Please be well hydrated and allow time to digest meals before the sessions.

What to bring:

See retreat preparation email for full details. You can grab a pillow from your room for the sound journeys. Bring some water (in a closed bottle) to drink as needed. Please wear warm, comfy layers that are easy to move in. You may like to have your journal and pen with you at each session.

Particular precautions for working with sound are: pregnancy, tinnitus, pace maker, epilepsy and metal implants from recent surgery. Also if you are experiencing significant mental health issues or the impact of trauma. If any of these apply I may wish to discuss on the phone (after receiving your form) how we work together in an appropriate way for your needs at this time; or ask you to consult with your doctor before the retreat.

For drinking cacao it is also important that we discuss (well in advance) any anti depressant, anti psychotic or heart medication you are taking; if you have high or low blood pressure; if you are particularly sensitive to stimulants like caffeine. This helps me offer the correct dosage to each person.
