Thank you for booking with me for a gong puja, I look forward to working together soon.

Here is an overview of what the session involves:

You will be invited to create a warm cosy nest (with support of yoga mats, mattress, bedding etc) to receive the sound through the night. You will be guided in a meditation, sharing circle and opening ceremony before the sound begins and flows continuously until sunrise. There will be a rota of highly experiences sound therapists playing 8 gongs at a moderate level, while the space is otherwise silent. This creates a deep immersion in sacred sound, which affects us differently each time; inviting healing physically, mentally, energetically, emotionally. There will be 20-30 mins or so of silence in the morning before some grounding sounds and guidance to move, breathe, stretch. We share a light breakfast and have a closing circle for sharing, grounding and suggestions for after care.

How to prepare:

Please be well hydrated and allow time to digest meals before the sound. It is helpful to keep the rest of your weekend flexible should you need extra rest or space to process. You may like to consider your intention for this ceremony.

What to bring:

You will need something comfy and padded to lay on through the night (a stack of yoga mats or a camping mattress) plus bedding or sleeping bag, blanket/s, pillow for your head, warm socks. Please wear warm, comfy layers; you can also bring a hot water or bottle or hat if needed. We recommend using an eye mask/ an eye pillow as dim lighting is required by those playing the gongs. Some people like to use a bolster or extra cushions behind their knees. You will also need a bolster or cushion to sit on for meditation, plus a flask and closed cup for teas/ water. Please do not wear perfumes or strong scented toiletries for the comfort of everyone in the space. We do provide some natural oil blends for your use.

If any of these apply I may wish to discuss on the phone (after receiving your form) how we work together in an appropriate way for your needs at this time; or ask you to consult with your doctor.
